2008 Wells Fargo Torchlight Run at Seafair

In support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska

Lace up your running shoes to support the Seattle Ronald McDonald House at this year’s Seafair Torchlight Run on July 26, 2008. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the 5K and 8K runs begin and finish near Quest Field and are sure to be a great time!  Registration will be available soon at www.seafair.com/events/torchrun.

While a portion of each registration fee will be donated to the House, participants are encouraged to fund-raise additional dollars as individuals or teams for RMHC.  It’s easy to be a team captain!  Ask your friends, family, co-workers and more to join you at this great event as a Torchlight Team.  As a fundraiser, you will receive supporting materials and one-on-one contact with RMHC staff to help make your efforts a success.

Here’s a sneak peak at some of the great prizes team fundraisers can win:

  • Each team captain will receive a Team Challenge Brooks training T-shirt
  • Teams raising more than $1,000 will receive a Team Challenge Brooks training T-shirt for each team member
  • Top fundraising team will receive 10 priority parade seats at McCormick’s Fish House on Fourth Avenue
  • The largest top fundraising team will receive general admission tickets to the Chevrolet Cup Hydroplane Race and Keybank Airshow on August 1-3.

Individual fundraising prizes include:

  • Individuals who raise $50 will receive a general admission ticket to the Chevrolet Cup
  • Individuals who raise $100 will receive a Brooks running shirt
  • Individuals who raise $250 will receive a pair of Brooks running shoes
  • Individuals who raise $500 or more will receive four weekend passes and pit passes for the Chevrolet Cup on August 1-3
  • The largest individual fundraiser will receive two roundtrip tickets on Southwest Airlines to any scheduled destination!
